Drobnak to Appear at 2024 Great Plains Tuba-Euphonium Conference


Dr. Drobnak will be presenting an Artist Tuba Recital on Friday, May 17 at 9 AM on the campus of The University of Nebraska Kearney as part of the 2024 Great Plains Regional Tuba Euphonium Conference. The recital will include the first movement of Kimberly Archer’s Multiple Personalities, the Fantasia en Do Menor by Bartolomé Pérez Casas and his own arrangement of Al Hayes’ Solo Pomposo for Tuba and Band. Ling Lo will accompany on piano. Drobnak will also present a clinic in the noontime hour on the same day for band directors on “Taking Care of Your Euphonium-Tuba Section.” the session is part of the music educator day of the conference. He will also be judging tuba competitions at the Young Artist and Artist Level.
